MovementOn the Zen's screen: DROP SHOT

Drop Shot

Presses Circle to drop the moment you start firing.

What it does

Every time you press R2, Drop Shot presses Circle for HOLD milliseconds and then lets go. The idea is to drop prone the instant a fight starts.

It runs once per press of R2, not the whole time you hold it, so a long spray drops you once.

When it runs

On each new press of R2, aiming or not.

DROP SHOTHOLD2002/2L/R O:BK
The Zen's screen with HOLD selected, at its default.

Settings

In the order the Zen shows them. Each label is exactly what you'll see on its screen.

  1. 1.

    ENABLED

    Values
    OFF or ON
    Default
OFF, unless you turned on “Default ON” for this mod in the generator.

Switches the mod on or off. The screen shows ON or OFF; press D-pad left or right to flip it.

  2. 2.

    HOLD

    Range
    50 to 600
    Default
    200
    Unit
    ms
    Each press
    ±10

How long Circle is held, in milliseconds. If your game crouches on a short press and goes prone on a long one, this decides which you get.

    • Raise it: Circle is held longer. Raise it if you only crouch or nothing happens.
    • Lower it: A shorter press. Lower it if you stay down too long or the press does something else.

Tune it in-game

Mods pause while the menu is open, so close it each time you want to test a change, then open it again to adjust.

  1. Hold L2 and press OPTIONS to open the menu.

  2. Press D-pad up or down until the screen shows DROP SHOT, then press Cross.

  3. On ENABLED, press D-pad right so it shows ON.

  4. Leave HOLD at 200 and close the menu.

  5. Press R2 once. You should drop as soon as you fire.

  6. If you only crouch or nothing happens, raise HOLD by 50 and try again. If the press does something else, lower it.

  7. When you're happy, hold L2 and press OPTIONS to close the menu. Your settings save to the Zen.

Tips and conflicts

  • It presses Circle. If your game goes prone on another button, it won't drop you.
  • Every tap of R2 drops you, so switch ENABLED OFF from the menu when you don't want it.

Conflicts

  • Jump Shot also reacts to the first press of R2. With both ON you'd press Circle and Cross at the same moment, so use one.

Build it in the generator

Switch on Drop Shot under Mods, set your starting values (and Default ON if you want it on from the start), then download your script. You can still change every value on the Zen afterwards.
